Primary Health Care for Men (for nurses)
This 2 hour activity aims to provide knowledge, skills and communication strategies to assist primary health care nurses to better engage men in the primary health care setting. The course provides education to improve understanding of male reproductive health disorders, including the associations between reproductive health and chronic disease (such as heart disease and diabetes). The course also provides communication and health promotion strategies for primary health care nurses to engage men about sensitive reproductive health disorders and identify opportunities for health promotion activities in the local community.
This activity has been endorsed by APNA according to approved quality standards criteria. Completion of this educational activity entitles eligible participants to claim 2 CPD hours.
